Woddy,
Hi, my name is deneen and my dad was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in June. I saw your response to Ramona about not going to Dr. Gary Schwartz at Sloan Kettering. I was wondering why you would recommend against seeing him. I ask because that was the first Doctor that my father saw and we liked him and felt that he gave good information and recommendations. My father is not receiving treatment at Sloan at this time as he can receive the same treatment closer to home. However, in March we were planning to return to Sloan where Dr. Schwartz was going to coordinate surgery for my father to reverse his colostomy and take a look at the omentum, where his cancer has spread, and possibly do some additional surgery there. I e-mailed you directly but have not seen a response back so I thought I would try this route as well.
I would be very appreciative of any information you could provide that may make us reconsider seeing Dr. Schwartz again.
Thanks Very Much,
Deneen
