i just wanted to say thank to all who posted to my question last week about the results of my ct. scans(which weren't very good)
your words of encouragement mean more to me than you will ever know.i start my chemo this friday(5fu and oxy)and i know i can do this.after reading your posts,i've decided that i will never give up and i'm going to beat this disease.i know it won't be easy, and when i have a question or doubts,i will turn to you once again.but i am so grateful that you took the time to help me.god bless you all and all cancer patients and their caregivers!

Your attitude is your salvation - believe in yourself and your strengh and power to heal. Always try to stay positive as negativity is not our friend at this (or anytime actually) time. Keep your faith in yourself (I do guided imagery and meditation to help boost my spirit). You can and will beat this - never, ever stop believing that.
If you have any questions about your chemo (which I and most others on this board are on) come back here often and ask - we are here for you.
All my positive vibes,
Lisa0
