I am new to this so bear with me. I have read most of the responses to this particular cancer and they seem to be promising. My mother was diagnosed with mucoepidermoid Cancer and her salivary gland was removed about 1 1/2 years ago.
It was low-grade stage 2. She underwent radiation therapy with lots of side effects. As of this month she was found to have another cyst behind her last tooth into her jaw and attached to her cheek. Same side as the original. It too is mucoepidermoid cancer. We are going to Roswell Park in Buffalo for another opinion. Can anyone give me some insight
into your personal experience with this cancer and the surgery. Her original doctor also told her it was not invasive.
