Hi, Im 33 and have had 2 rare cancers in 4 years. Thymoma (malignant) and Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma. The Docs claim that they are unrelated. I am curious to know if there are others out there like me who only grow crazy stuff?? I would also like to know if anyone is experiencing hair loss 5 years after chemo?
Thanks,
m

Hi, I've a rare cancer for many years, its a malignant paraganglioma with many metastases. I've had this for years and in 2002 I found I had ovarian cancer, completely unrelated to the other cancer. It just happened, was treated for it, now my markers for ovarian cancer are normal but I still have the other cancer. I suppose it is still possible to have two different cancers at the same time, completely unrelated to each other. I cannot help you with hair info becauase I've never had chemo. I hope your rare cancers are being treated and that you will get well. All the best, TereB
