Ihave not posted for along time but,I do check in often. It is almost 4 years praise the Lord!!! I still need to be reasured that what I feel is normal. Had my 6 month check up this last month and my lab work was fine my onc. is great but need some input from women .I had implants with saline they are under lawsuit for not being as soft and natural as planned {by 0ther women not me). I had 11 lympth nodes positive strong treatments very active in my lifestyle gardening, hairdresser, video clerk and pizza employee2-3days people think I'am crazy but,I do what I can. I feel like i'am making a sort question very long my husband is a wonderful writer i do better talking. Ok back to question I have this alway nagging scare because under my arm where the nodes were removed it gets that tight feeling when you sleep at night it is so stiff when you get up you need yo work your underarm. My tumor grew and was sore so everything I have read says even when my tissue is all gone I will still have the sore feeling. I hope someone else knows what i'am trying so hard to say. I know lots of women in my small town who have had mas. but so few have reconstruction so not sure if what i feel is normal. I ask my doctors they reasur me that my lab work will let them know if i need to go further with test. Had ct scan last year it was good.i repeat I'am sorry for rambling does the scar tissue maybe around that breast get tight because of the radiation? just want someonelse with same feelings .

I had 15 lymph nodes removed and 3 were positive and I had a mastectomy back in May 03. I am still stiff under my arm and it is still tender where the nodes were taking out too. I still have to exercise my arm to help the stiffness. Where my breast was it is tight and I did have radiation too. My surgeon did say that radiation will take your skin tight.
