Mexoryl

I saw a segment on 20/20 one night about a month ago and it dealt with a drug called Mexoryl that is used in many sunblocks around the world. It has not however, been passed by the FDA so you cannot buy any sunblock which contains Mexoryl in the U.S. Sunscreens that contain this ingredient are supposedly much better than the one's we are able to buy in the U.S. because it is able to block UVB rays much better than any sold here. I was wondering if anyone else knows anything about this. You can order sunscreens with it on-line (Google and search for Mexoryl sunblock). There are many companies to chose from. It is a little bit pricy though, most 16 ounce bottles of it are around $40. If anyone can share any more information I would appreciate it, thank you.

I have been able to get it for about $28 a bottle of 125 ml. SPF40 from http://anthelios.home.comcast.net direct from Europe.0
