My father-in-law had sudden pain in his abdomen and shortness of breath and was taken to the ER today. Cat Scan showed huge tumor wrapped around major arteries, into his intestines and (if I understood correctly) it had punctured his bowels. They said it was inoperable and that radiation might shrink it but it would damage the organs it was wrapped around. They are "making him comfortable". Is there any hope? Interested in your experience.
