I really like the message boards at www.planetcancer.org. I find them to be pretty active and interesting. Hope this helps!

This board is pretty new, so it is going to take all of us to make it work. Even if you start looking at other boards, please do not give up on this one....It just got started!
Take care, Susan0 -
Whatsup Daysee18, I agree with with some of the answers given. This is a new board it takes time. Ask some of your questions here Iam sure some one will reply. We must remember that the other org. had to start some where. If we stick together this can become a great board. Talk to me-smile0

Just a suggestion for us.....
We could plan to meet in the chat room once a week (or less/more often) and at a particular time. I'll start showing there at 6pm EST on Thursdays to start it off, but the time/day could be changed to suit more of you. I hope to see you there.

there are many other sites for young people but none I have found with a chat. It will take all of us young people to get into the chat here and help eachother and to post on the disscussion board. We need to stick together and start getting into the chat together. I am on the chat often and I also have other chatting software I use to keep intouch with other people from this site. Such as AIM- aol instant messenger. So you can find me in the chat on here and we are gonna mention to this site better ways to accomadate us younger survivors and patients... I hope you will join the chat sometimes because there are alot of younger people and helpfull people in the chat. if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me or any of the younger people you meet on the site. We like hearing from others. Kristin0

I agree that a set meeting time 1 or more times a week for younger people would be a great idea. A good way to make connections and kinda find out who's around and what's going on.
