partial breast radiation

I am scheduled to start "partial breast radiation" which is a newer treatment - 2 radiation treatments per day for one week, more intense doses of radiation. This is instead of the one treatment per day for 6 - 8 week typical treatment. Does anyone have experience with this newer treatment? Any thoughts? I have already had 4 rounds of chemo - AC and will have hormone treatment following radiation. I need to know if someone has tried this newer protocol and is satisfied with the results/process. Please advise if you are out there. Thank you. P.S. - I have never posted a question before. I came to the discussion boards during my lowest point after 4 rounds of chemo. Reading your thoughts and support to each other brought me great comfort. I am deeply grateful.
