Nerve Damage after Biopsy
A biopsy was done in July '03 to test a node in my groin area, which confirmed the non hodgkins cancer. After the standard chemo treatments I was declared in remission in November '03. Fantastic! Ever since the surgery though, I have extreme pain which starts at incision and radiates to my knee. Oncologist and my regular doctor indicate it is nerve damage from biopsy. I get pain medication and muscle relaxers, which has no effect to the pain in my leg. When I try to stand after sitting for an hour, I almost double over.
Anyone have a similar situation with nerve damage from biopsy?
Anyone been given something to stop pain?
(please reach me either through CSN or thomking4325@comcast.net)
