Hi all, I'm barging in from the breast cancer board to ask a question. I'm curious if any of you take dietary supplements, and if so do you have any experience with Chinese skullcap (Huang Qin)? The reason I ask is because I read on the NCCAM site (National Center for Complementary and Alternative Therapy) that they did a study in 2003. Apparently, the study showed this supplement to be effective in inhibiting the growth of tumor cells in head and neck cancer, even for multichemotherapy drug resistant cases. Then I read in USA Today that the FDA has decided skullcap is a 'dangerous' drug and will be pulled off the market. Thought I'd check here to see if anyone knows more about it than me since I just sort of stumbled across the information.
Thanks for your time.
God bless.
