well just found out that mom will be coming home on friday.shes healing well and whats left of her left leg is very strong so they see no problems when it comes to fitting her for the prosthesis.i want to thank everyone for the kind words and caring through this hard time.in the last year shes lost her home to fire, discovered she has breast cancer and that she has to have a masectomy, then just when shes nearly through the chemo she loses her leg to a doctors arrogant mistake.all i can say is shes one strong woman and i only hope that ill be half as strong as her when its needed.

Wow, your mom sounds like a heck of a role model! I have no doubt that she raised you right and passed on the tools needed for coping any situation to you. Your family has been thru a lot. Continue to be there for one another, through good and bad times. That's what life's about. Best wishes!

That is great news! She is very blessed to have you, as you are to have her. All the best to both of you. Betty
