I am looking for any and all information on squamous cell carcinoma. My father in law was diagnosed almost 2 years ago with SCC aath the base of his tongue. He underwent treatment But it still continued to grow and because it encompasssed the arteries in the neck it wasn't possible to operate. His moved to hislungs as well and he lost his battle on Feb 25th. One week later my father went to the Dr about a sore throathe couldn't seem to shake and was diagnosed after being sent to an ENT with a poorly differentiated Squamous Cell Carcinoma in and just behind the left tonsil. He goes this coming Tuesday to meet his radiation dr. My questions are many but for now I am just searching for information. I may not be the one with the disease but I have to know all I can to deal with it.
