i am going on my 3rd chemo.taking adriamycin and taxitere. my only chance is slowing the cancer down or stopping it. no cure and no surgery is required. i had breast cancer 2yrs ago and was caught early/got it all. it has not shown up in the other breast.i do have fast growing kind. my question is,is there really hope??? i feel well most of the time and do all what i can before next treatment. i don't want to live depressed on what days i have left feeling good. my daughter is 30 and was diagnosed with a differ breast cancer and had surgery right after i got through with my chemo the first go around, not forgetting she just had given birth to her 2nd child. she has a hard time. iam 47yrs with 3 children, youngest still in college, 2 grandchildren and one on the way. i wasn't given any time limit but i will have another scan done to see if any improvements or on next to another meds. is there really hope???

There is always hope. You didn't say what stage you are. I was stage 3 and had my entire left lung removed. My chemo worked when it returned 2 1/2 years later. I was given taxatare and carboplatinum and had 6 treatments. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Love Anne Cuozzo
