My dentist's niece has brain cancer , and she is getting chemo in pill form. It would be nice if all chemo was in pill form...can we expect all chemo can be given in pill-form in the immediate future?

Unfortuntely many types of chemo cannot be taken in pill form - they need to be transfused. Anyway I had a friend who was on oral chemo and that wasn't any picnic either!

I have been on both types of chemo. I prefer the oral because my veins are shot, but I think I have had MORE side effects from the oral, which for me is daily, than the intravenous.
