We got the results of the PET scan today; no signs of cancer in the liver. So, we start the chemo Thursday, 6 weeks on/2 off. 5-Fu and leuco. I mentioned the side effects everyone brought up and he said to definitely bring any of them up if they occurr. Everything positive. Now we're concentrating on keeping good thoughts and planing a great vacation when the chemo is over. Thanks for all of your support.

    Great news on your PET scan! Chemo will be over before you know it and you sound like you have a great attitude. We're all behind you! (well... not too close behind you. You understand.)

    Great to hear about pet scan. Just keep in mine that you need to get plenty of rest and drink lots of water.
    So where are you planning to go on that vacation?

    sricar====good luck and our thoughts are with you.I just completed 6 months of the same regime---hey -I did it!!!!---you can too!
