Welcome.
I'm a 53 yr old male with stage 4 glio blastoma multiform. I was diagnosed in July 2003. Surgery on Aug 21st where they removed 80% of the tumor, and implanted glio wafers, which are chemo wafers. I started radiation (6 wks)and chemo (temadar) on Sept 12th. Since then I have completed 4 rounds of chemo.
I wanted to come on this discussion to invite any of you to the chat room. There are a lot of people in the chat room, and I think you will find it informational, and helpful for anyone dealing with cancer. Whether your a caregiver, survivor, or someone just wanting to connect and express your feelings.
Just click on the link to the left, titled discussions and chat.
Hope to see you there.
