It will two years in May since I was dx. I'm like you they do bloodwork it is okay, they do mammograms and in my case do to a seroma a ultrasound. The Dr I have at present doesn't check anything stands in the door with my chart and ask if everything is okay. The PA does check the breasts. I had a lumpectomy. She listens to my heart and lungs and that is it. I told her last month I had been having backaches and she said a bone scan without even asking where, what or when? Said they would set it up and haven't heard a word since. I ache all over since I have been on Tamoxifen so not sure where you would start checking or even if it is worth while. I guess the word cure is not giong to happen so no use waiting for it. Try to live each day and listen to your body you do know it better then any Dr. Cong on being finished with treatment. Linda0

Follow up on the bone scan - you must be proactive. Most likely it was forgotten - call and remind the PA or doctor that it was supposed to be set up.
Take nothing for granted - I speak from experience.

Three months to a doctor is a 'baby step' forward. But rejoice in that Dear. We all have to start with that first step.
And about the bone scan--yes, you probably should have it. More than likely it's just fatigue getting to you, or stress. But it's better to have it checked and get relief, than to stew about it for months. And you will learn that you have to be your own advocate. Doctors have so many patients that they all sort of blur together. The squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess. But if he seems to be consistantly uninterested, I'd see about switching to a doc with a better attitude. (Next time they call you to see if you can change your appointment 'cause doc is out of town that week, ask if he has an associate who could see you. Then if you like him better, just scedule your next appointment with him!)0 -
Get back to her IMMEDIATELY. I too had backaches and it turned out that I had a tumor in my back. Not to scare you but don't let them ignore you! I almost ignored myself to death. I don't ignore anything now! Get a bone scan and/or a MRI/CT scan. Let me know how you do.lindatn said:It will two years in May since I was dx.
