Hi, everyone! As we all have come to realize, knowledge is power. With this in mind, here is a tidbit of information. I just read an article about a new cancer drug that has been developed. Its called Avastin. It is supposed to inhibit the growth of new blood vessels to tumors,(a process called angiogenesis), thus 'activating' the tumor. It is hoped that it will be used for treating ovarian cancer. Avastin will be going before the FDA this spring for consideration. WebMD has the article. But I'm sure it can be googled.

Thank you for the "heads up", Steffie. There's a lot of information available when it's googled.0
