Pain

I had a mascectomy on 01-15-04. I also had a skin graft. I feel fine everywhere except my arm. The pain in my arm keeps me awake. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Where in the arm? Has it affected your range of motion? Does it burn, tingle, stab...? Is your arm swelling? Are you taking any meds for pain? Are you in physical therapy?
Need more info and I'll try to help.

1-15-04 is like yesterday in the cancer world.Do you have any oxycodone tablets. I have 5 mg tablets and find they work by about 45 minutes after taking one. it is safe to take to which will help your pain a lot and make you sleep too only because you will or ought to feel more comfortable - like being wrapped in a cosy warm blanket and painfree. How much better could that get???
Of course, it a Rx pill - ask you doctor about it as well as tellint him where it hurts.
