hi nanuk,
my onc told me colon often follows this path: liver-lung-thyroid......then maybe brain? for women it often hops over into ovaries and such also.
PET can determine hot spots from head to toe. Most likely one would want to know where all the buggers set up camp.
I know of no other tests besides CT and PET.
peace, emily
