Financial Help to Cancer Patient

Does anyone know of any organization where they help you financially? I am on a NY state disability for 3 months untill my LTD from work kicks in, it's $170 a week, out of which they deduct taxes ans the cost of my medical benefits that I contibuted at wwork. So I will be getting $540 a month. This doesn't even cover rent.
