Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

I just wanted to wish you all the best holiday season. It is so hard to deal with the holidays when we are dealing with cancer. Last year I was so depressed and sick at Christmas. I really did not think I would be here for this one...but here I still am. The doctors were so Doom & Gloom about Ovarian Cancer. Told me I only had a few months to live. Well it may get me someday but for now life is good and I intend to enjoy every second that God gives me.
So, try to put cancer out of your mind and ENJOY LIFE! Savor the time with your loved ones. Go to church, or go look at Christmas lights, give a toy to a child who might not have anything for Christmas. We are still here for a purpose so lets get out there and do it.
Love and Prayers for you all!

Thank you, and Happy Holidays to you and everyone out there. You are so right. Time is so precious. We can't waste any moment. My year has been so busy, hectic, stressful. But I've learned to pace myself and do only what I can, and to set my priorities. The holiday will still be wonderful even if I didn't put up as many decorations or bake as many cookies.
To those of you who are not feeling well, you're in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you health and joy this Season and New Year. We'll chat soon!0 -
I am also looking forward to Christmas. I have been pretty ill at times this year. My chemo was cancelled last week because I needed a blood transfusion. So at least I won't have the side effects over Christmas - will probably have them for New Year instead.Chemo is working I have been told. Would be pleased to hear from anyone else with ovarian cancer. mburtisc@tiscali.co.uk
Happy Christmas everyone And a Healthy New Year.0
