I'm am a caregiver. My husband was diagosed with melanoma in June 2003. Operated on a mole on his shoudler. Further testing it had spread to 1 lymph node under his arm pit. Starter interferon on Sept. 6/03. Has did very well on it and so far only tiredness. Did have a couple of restless nights but the Dr. put him on a pill which has stopped that. Has no trouble sleeping. Eats well & has lost very little weight. His monthly test results have been very good. No rash from the needle or any problems. Hope it is this way the rest of the treatment as we all need to get through this. So everyone hang in their who maybe doing this treatment. The reward will be after the treatment is over.
