I am having my final surgery for reconstruction at the end of this month and my plastic sur. said a bit of lipo would clear, what I have read called "dog ears", up some. I notice that is the only point where I have swelling It's a small amount that showed up since loss of my lymph nodes. It shows there and a bit into my shoulder/back area. I am working with a lymphodema specialist at the present time so no real problem except cosmetic. After the year I have had I can live a bit longer "cosmetically challenged!" I am so glad to hear it was successful and best of all how pleased you are with the results. As far as reconstruction- do what you want, when you want. It is ONE thing we can control about bc.
