melanoma in lymph nodes

has anyone else had melanoma in the lymph nodes removed from under your arm? If so how many were infected? Also have you experienced knots in your shoulder area from the same side ..I must hold my body differently now and I get sore on that side now. Just wondering..1 year 5 months survivor

    hi.... i just had the five centinal nodess removed and four were clean but fifth had cancer. last thursday they removed most of the other nodes undermy left arm and i get the results on monday......sound familiar??? i still have a drain in place but my arm does ache and i am hoping it will go away soon as drain is removed. would love to chat if you are willing as this is so new to me and i would appreciate the contact. thanks....
