Hi! I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in January of this year. I underwent radiation and chemo(5FU), followed by a surgery which included a colostomy and a partial vaginectomy. I finished my post-operative in mid-September. Two weeks later, I had a CT scan which came back positive. Further testing revealed 11 suspected malignant lesions in the lung (all less than one centimeter) and one spot on the liver. I'm only 21, confused and scared. My doctor is telling me to wait until January to proceed with treatment. What should I do???
