follow-up guidlines

For those of you concerned about late effects the Children's Oncology Group has just published very extensive guidelines for follow-up care for survivors of childhood/adolescent cancers. They are fairly easy to use and a very good resource to share with primary care physicians when in doubt about current health issues and their relationship to past treatments.

    i've done all the follow and found out alot about late effects and was dx during pregnancy w/cardiomyopathy because of the follow-up reccomentded by my pedi onc.group. i think it was life saving for myself and my baby. Had i not done the f/u i may have never known my heart was in bad condition.
