fibrosis after thyroid surgery.

Hi. Please help. I had two surgery's last november for thyroid cancer. I had iodine radiation in april. Now I have a lump in my throat-like there's a peanut stuck! My surgeon says it's probably scar tissue gone hard (fiberous tissue). I had a ct-scan yesterday but i have to wait till next monday for the results. Has anyone out there had this problem and what is the likely outcome. Please help I'm finding the waiting very hard. Thanks.
