            Post Tamoxifen Hot Flashes
Recently went off of Tamoxifen after 4 years. The hot flashes during the 4 years were frequent and intense. As I am 74, I made the decision to get off and enjoy my remaining years with a quality of life. However, after 3 weeks of no Tamoxifen, the hot flashes although as frequent or lasting in duration continue and the intensity is just that, intense.
I have tried Melatonin because of their statements of increasing the Tamoxifen effectiveness by as much as 100%, the ability to help with sleep and reduce the hot flashes. After discontinuing the Tamoxifen I have continued to use the Melatonin, but hot flashes continue.
Anyone have the same experience?

tamoxifen with intrarosa prasterone vaginal inserts
I have been using tamoxifen for almost 4 years. Had stage 1A estrogen positive cancer in left breast. I chose lumpectomy and radiation for my treatment My oncologist referred me to a urerogynocologist for vaginal atrophy and dryness from the tamoxifen. She prescribed intrarosa prasterone vaginal inserts that I started using about two years ago. I had good results for about a year, but my bladder started to feel like I had a bladder infection all the time. I recently stopped taking intrarosa and started taking Bonafide Revaree. The Bonafide does not have any estrogen. I am wondering if I should be taking a mild estrogen supplement for bladder health. I still am experienceing some bladder sensitivity.
What are others using to help with the side effects of the tamoxifen?
