Hi, I was on Tamoxifen for over a year and was having terrible aches/pains in my back, legs and feet. I did a test myself and stopped taking it and the pain went away immediately and when I started back on it the pain started again. I told my onco and she put me on Arimdex, now I'm suffering with really bad skin/pimples and I'm 38... so I did the same sort of test and had the same result, but I'd rather pimples than back/leg and foot pain. Do a test it should only take about 2 weeks. I hope this helps..... best wishes.

Hi Tara...since your legs were achy before the tamoxifen, I'm betting its the residual effects of that darn taxotere. My hands, knees, legs and feet ache almost constantly and my second toe on my right foot is numb. It feels like I have a tight toe ring on it. When I get up in the morning, I feel like an old car that has to warm up before I can run properly. I haven't noticed that my aches are any worse on tamoxifen than they were before. Hope this is the case with you as well!
