Thanks Laura. I did have a breast exam yesterday and the doctor suggests that I have an ultrasound. That's scheduled for Mon. morning. In the meantime I stopped at the hospital to collect my mammo records which included the radologist's report on the mammo done on Thurs. It reads that the area seems to be more technical than a mass growing, have no idea what that means. Again his suggestion was for a 6-month follow-up mammo but I'm not easy waiting until then. I'll go Monday and with good thoughts and prayers, hopefully everything will turn out ok.SCmom said:Judy, i'm not sure what it means, i am new to all of this. I just wanted to tell you to take a deep breath and keep busy this weekend. My doctor too is out of town till monday, and I have lots of questions about upcoming sugery. You'll be in my thoughts.
Laura
Thanks again, and good luck with your upcoming surgery. I'll try to stop by this site oftener. I used to visit daily but got busy with other things. Judy -
Gosh, after being in this whole breast cancer thing for 7 years, I thought I had heard most of the terms. My first thought was that the tissue was showing an increased thickness....
please keep us posted. Praying that the weekend is filled with some good diversional activities!!
Why does there always seem to be a weekend when we are waiting for results!! Peace to you, Jane
