I had a mucoepidermoid carcinoma (perhaps II grade)... someone had the same?

    I was just diagnosed also with this on back of tongue. Had a biopsy and didn't get clean margins except for the deep biopsy. I am now pursuing the best procedure to make sure it's all out. Experts at UCLA say no radiation, but want to do a massive surgery and reconstruction. I am getting a second opinion from UCSD in 2 weeks. They want to go in through the neck and not the mouth. What have you been told as far as treatment?

    have just had an operation to remove a mucoepidermoid cancer from my jaw and now have a mouth full of stitches and a smaller mouth too
