I am trying to raise money for the Race for the Cure. I am participating in the race on Sept. 14 and I am trying to raise as much money as I can. My mother had breast cancer and I really want to try and make a difference by helping them find a cure. If you are at all interested please check out this site...http://hooterhelpers.chariteam.com
I made it off the Komen Race for the Cure site and if you could spread the word I would appriciate it!!!

Hi! I volunteer at Race for a Cure. It's an awsome event! I have participated in The Relay For Life for 3 years. The way I have raised money is to send letters to people on my Christmas list as well as other family and friends explaining about the event and where the money goes and ask for any donation they can give. It's amazing how many people respond! I sent out about 25 letters and received about $1500 from that . Then we (my team) had a car wash and bakesale and raised more. The total for my team was close to $6000. I was very pleased. Good luck in your fundraiser. Let us know how it goes. Thanks for your help!! HUGS!! Cathy
