Two years ago My husband was diagnosed with stage IIIA lung cancer that was treated with chemo and radiation - since then he has had two surgeries to remove tumors in his brain. He isn't working anymore but I guess I won't let him give in - he doesn't want to die but is so sad. I've convinced him to talk with a counselor specializing in cancer patients and their families - basically I told him I couldn't live with the way we were - I didn't want to go home either and I have a 10 year old daughter that needs her own attention from us both - are you able to seek counseling for you? I guess I have tried to "fix" him through nutrition but sometimes it gets so hard and it drains all the energy - thats when I usually do something for myself - right now I get up a half hour earlier than everyone else and do an exercise routine with a VHS tape - at least it makes me feel good about myself and then I can give more to others- I look forward to hearing from you- bye for now.
