I have been on Arimidex for a year and a half. The only real side effect except fatigue has been severe joint pain and swelling. In the last 4 months the pain is not as bad. Has anyone else experienced this side effect from the drug and have you found anything to take for relief?

I've been on it for 7 months now but have not experienced the joint pain. Fatigue yes, but who knows what to blame that on. Talk to your doctor. Good Luck Beth

I have been on arimidex for about six months since my surgery. Docotr warned me about the joint pain and he was right...stiffness seems better if I make myself exercise...however I tell myself it is a sign the drug is actively working so hang in there

    Joint Pain with Arimidex

I have been on Arimidex for about six weeks and have found the joint pain challenging.  I do believe that the more I walk, the better it is.  Advil at night helps with sleep and then I try to just tough it out during the day.  i wonder if yoga would help.  Any exercise recommendations?
