Tongue flap reconstruction

I had surgery to do tongue reconstruction with the muscle from my forearm. Wondered if anyone had this done and then considered another surgery to make to appearance of the forearm look better and feel less sensitive. I am only two months out from surgery.. just want to see what is out there.

    Hi I had a tongue flap made cant say I love it but I can talk and eat which I suppose is something

    I am 15 yrs cancer-free from tongue ca. I had about half of my tongue removed. I have never heard of a tongue flap reconctruction. Could you fill me in? Thanks, have a blessed day! Lisa

    Hi, I had tongue flap reconstruction, 34 radiation treatments and just started chemo. I havent really thought about my arm, i have so much other things going on that i just want to be cured of the cancer. did you have radiation? My saliva is sooo thick, it gags me. Any ideas?
