Hi everyone I am new here. I am 23 years old and I
am a survivor of neuroblastoma. I was wondering if anyone here is also a survior? For those who know of children that have it I wish them any and all support I can give to you right now. Feel free to send me a message at the site if you have any information on neuroblastoma or would just like to talk. Aquagirl18

Hello, I am 21 years old and having just had a operation to remove a mass from my adrenal glad, was told it was a cancer called Ganglioneuroblastoma. I understand this is similar to what you had? I was wondering if you had any information or just support i would be most grateful. Im extremly confused and worried with what will happen next. The doctors seem to be keeping information from me. It would be great talking to someone who has experienced a silimar nightmare! Dancer18 x

I was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when I was 6 months old. I spent 10 years fighting the disease and survived against all odds. It will be a tough road for you but there is hope. I am now 35 years old and have two beautiful healthy children of my own. They are now 9 and 10.

I believe this will be tougher on you than it is for her because no parent wants to see this happen to their child. I know my mother wished many times she could trade places with me.

My best advice to you is to make sure you have plenty of emotional support. Accept all the help you need and avoid feeling guilty if you feel like you need time for yourself. It is very important for you to take good care of yourself so that you can be the supportive mom your daughter needs.

Also, if you have any questions, no matter how small, do not hesitate to ask.

Good luck. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Madison.

My niece was just recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma, stage 4 nmyc amplification with a grapefruit size tumor in her stomach. She just finished her 2nd round of chemotherapy and the prognosis is still pending. Your story is very encouraging and would love to talk you or anybody that is willing to talk so i can understand a bit more.
