I was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when I was 6 months old. I spent 10 years fighting the disease and survived against all odds. It will be a tough road for you but there is hope. I am now 35 years old and have two beautiful healthy children of my own. They are now 9 and 10.madismom said:my daughter, madison was just recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma stage4. She is 2 years old. I would love to talk to you more about the treatments you went through. I am very new to all this and would love any info you have to share
I believe this will be tougher on you than it is for her because no parent wants to see this happen to their child. I know my mother wished many times she could trade places with me.
My best advice to you is to make sure you have plenty of emotional support. Accept all the help you need and avoid feeling guilty if you feel like you need time for yourself. It is very important for you to take good care of yourself so that you can be the supportive mom your daughter needs.
Also, if you have any questions, no matter how small, do not hesitate to ask.
Good luck. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Madison.0 -
