Recurrence symptoms?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 yrs. ago, lumpectomy,radiation & on Arimidex. The breast is now turning a purplish color & occasional pain. Can anyone share any experience with recurrence in the same breast & the symptoms?

    Virginia, on a positive note it's probably radiation changes, but basically anything out of the ordinary, any change should be worked up to rule out re-occurrence. Best bet, check with your doctor, he'll probably order blood tests, and mammogram with ultrasound. Don't put it off, OK? God bless and let us know what you find out. hummingbyrd

    I've had a re-occurrance in the same breast. It can happen but it can be from other things. Please rest your mind. Have it checked out.
