I am now in remission after 10 years of cancer battles. I am looking forward to a new future but because of limitations due to surgeries I can not return to my old line of work. I am now going back to school through the DES vocational rehab program. I think this is more scary than the surgery! I am very worried about being able to get insured or hired. I am on disability but it isn't much because I had to retire so early. A job would be nice if I can get it. Any ideas or expiernces in regard to this?

School sounds like a wonderful idea. Looking for a job is stressful, I wish you the best in your efforts. Make sure you do something you like and enjoy whatever it is. Aim high because you are a survivor!! We can get through anything after what we've been through. My prayers are with you.
