Need Help! ref: swollen lymth node

I just found there is a 3cm swollen lymth node between my neck and right shoulder, no any pain.
is it a bad sign for lung cancer? I am so scared and my family are all worry about me. I am only 39 years old, I have no idea about it. I just took X-ray and blood test waiting for the result.
Can any one tell me this swollen lymth node is normal one or not? thank you in advanced!

    It's good you're getting it checked out early. My mom has stage 3b lung cancer and she didn't have any clue until a swelling came up in her neck. I'm not wanting to scare you, but it's good to get it checked like you did. I hope the results are clear. And for God's sake and your own, if you are a smoker---STOP!!!
