My mother was just diagnosed with abdominal fibrosarcoma. It is stage IV. I'm scared. My mom is only 60 years old. This is all I think about. I have been with my Mom every step of the way from the surgery to her first oncology appointment. But I am burning out. I am finding it difficult to remain "strong". Any suggestions?

HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF A CLINICAL TRIAL FOR YOUR MOM?

FAMILY MEMBERS NEED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AS MUCH AS THE PATIENT. I AM A 8 YEAR SURVIVOR OF FIBROSARCOMA. IT WAS IN MY RIGHT HAND, HAD TO HAVE IT AMPUTATED AND HAVE CHEMO. YES, I WAS RIGHT HANDED. IT WAS AND STILL IS A BIG ADJUSTMENT. MINE WAS IN STAGE 3. THE CHEMO SAVED MY LIFE. GOD WAS MY STRENGTH THRU IT ALL. I SUGGEST IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND CHURCH TO FIND A CHURCH YOU LIKE AND THEY WILL HELP YOU TREMENDOUSLY. GOD BLESS YALL.
