Hi Pippi! I just asked my eye MD yesterday about cataracts and Tamoxifen. He said there's no real proof that Tamoxifen is the cause. He said cataracts are common in older females and it can be a coincidence that they were on Tamoxifen. He says in all his years of practice that he hasn't seen anybody that he can blame the Tamoxifen for causing cataracts. Years ago, woman were on Tamoxifen for more than 10 years and the incidence of cataracts didn't increase. I'm not saying you didn't get them from the meds. I'm just telling you what my MD told me yesterday. So far, I'm clear and I'm 51. Good luck. HUGS!! Cathy
