My mom was diagnosed with esophageal cancer almost 2 years ago. It was in stage iv and it was beyond the surgery stage. Her doctor decided to give her chemo and hope to be able to prolong her life if it worked. I am very happy to say that she is now cancer free and contimues her chemo every 6 weeks for the rest of her life (she is only 54 and this is the second time and type of cancer she has had). Her doctor is amazed and so am I. I hope that things go well for your father and I am praying for you.0
