I am posting this in a few of the bigger Discussion Groups. My Step Father has cancer in his throat. He's showing signs of improvement and for this Christmas, I was hoping to give him a Christmas card with stories from cancer survivors.     Hi there I am a 22 year cancer surviver and have a web page here I think you will find it under jerrikehoe or nasalpharnyx cancer, yes you can survive cancer I have proven that after many recurrances I thank God for every day and if I can help just let me know.

    Feel free to go to my story in the Expressions gallery (A year against cancer, davecr) & clip it for your step-dad. It's been 18 months since end of treatment & I'm doing fine.

    I am a recovering patient/survivor of SCC of the base of tongue. When I was feeling my worst, after twice a day radiation ended and I was at home and getting depressed, I found a wonderful website...Oralcancerfoundation.org. It has a patient's forum where caring people give support and answer each other's questions. It really pulled me through and I still go there every day. It also contains survivor stories and the latest medical developments. I can't recommend it enough.
