I am posting this in a few of the bigger Discussion Groups. My Step Father has cancer in his throat. He's showing signs of improvement and for this Christmas, I was hoping to give him a Christmas card with stories from cancer survivors.     Dear Heavenly Father, I ask Lord that you have mercy on this man. God, just touch his throat and heal him of all cancer. Give his doctors the wisdom to treat him successfully and bless his family with hope and peace and the faith that through You all things are possible. I lift this man up to You Lord for Your mercy and grace to be poured out upon him. Let him come to know You Lord for the wonderful God that you are, and in all things let them give You all the honor and glory. I ask Lord that You surround this family with Your angels of mercy and healing. Let this illness be seen to the family and friends as a blessing. Reveal to them Lord Your will and what You want to see achieved during this time of trial, how they can grow in their faith in You, in the assurance that You are in control of all things and that Your will is the perfect will. In Christ' name I pray. Amen
