following hormone treatment, external beam radiation, and seeding with paladium seeds my husband has developed a very painful deep ulcer in the first five centimeters of his colon. The ulcer is not healing and dr. has recommended treatment in hyperbaric chamber.

Has anyone had any experience with this condition. Would appreciate any info from anyone.

How is your husband doing? I am looking for information for my father. He had external beam and seeds for prostate cancer last year. He has extreme pain anytime he urinates, even though two weeks ago he had surgery outfitting him with a bag for the urine. From reading information on the web I'm wondering if he has necrosis from the radiation but I am having trouble finding information on how it is treated, if at all.
