Chemo pill

I have a friend whose BC has met. to her liver. She was having chemo weekly for a long time, then was switched to once every three weeks. All through it all she has done fantastically. She is an incredable woman! Doc says that if the tumors stay shrunk, that by Spring she can begin taking a pill instead of the regular chemo. Does anyone have any info about this pill?
Thanks, Mary

I'm sure there is more than one chemo pill, but the one I'm familiar with is xeloda. Try to find out the name of the med she's going to take. Maybe then we can be of more help. Sending out prayers that your friend continues to do well! God bless. hummingbyrd0
