New Format--Not all that bad

It's been quite awhile since I visited this site. At first I was confused and frustrated. I read some of the other messages and found I wasn't alone. Then I noticed at the top of the screen a place that said "Layout of messages" and just below that an option box. The default in the box said "nested". I clicked on the arrow to see what other choices there were and found one that said "threaded". When I clicked on that and then on "go", I found that the format looked very similar to the one I was more accustomed to. I don't know if that will help anyone else, but like most everyone I know, I don't like change either so finding a setting that looked more familiar made me feel more comfortable.

The one thing I can't seem to find is the Chat Room for visitors to this site. If anyone can give me directions to this, I'd appreciate it.
