Dear longtermsurvivo,
The Cancer Survivors Network is here for Surivors such as yourself to find other surviors to share experiences and support each other. The discussion groups and chat room are just one place to do this in the CSN community. You can also find out about other survivors, read their stories and listen to them talking about their experiences in the "Talk Shows and Stories" section in the left column of any CSN page. Another way to find Survivors like yourself, and communicate with them, is to search for Survivors of Childhood cancer in the "Personal Web-pages" section where members have posted information and stories about themselves. CSN's resource library also offers alot of information, relevant links, and reading material for cancer survivors which you may find useful. If you want to speak with a trained cancer information specialist regarding any questions, please call the American Cancer Society's help-line at 1800-ACS-2345.
Please feel free to email us directly if you have any further concerns or questions. Thank you for joining the Cancer Survivors Network.

I am 38 years old and have been in remission since 1977. I had Hodgkin's Disease that was diagnosed in stage 3B in 1974. I am now married and have 2 daughters.
I still have complications with a compromised immune system due to spleenectomy and some other issues. Life is good however and I never take a moment for granted.0 -
